I tend to agree with you about the fact that people are not as willing
to install plug-ins anymore. I am not sure on the 50% figgure for non
IE users, but I would not be shocked by that as many people are not
happy with IE7 and want what it has to offer but need a better browser
(they notice that FF have been doing what IE now does for years and
have swiched).
